About me

I'm Andreas Nor, an illustrator and graphic designer, based in the Nes area of Norway, where I live with my wonderful wife and kids.

As an 80's kid I grew up with lots of wonderful movies, cartoons, comics and played in the forest, which still keep inspiring my work today. Puppety-monsters grounded in reality, cute animals, gritty space opera scenes, or characters inspired by the work of "The good Duck artist" Carl Barks are just some of the things that I create, so I'm quite flexible

My preferred method of working is to paint things in Photoshop, but I'm almost always starting with a pencil sketch. There's just something about spilling graphite ideas onto paper. Sometimes I also like to bring out watercolors and ink, to create a different look.
